THE ESSENTIALS

Coins, entries, and prize tickets

Balance names are part of the rules. Learn to keep recreational units, promotional entries, and eligible prizes separate.

Recreational coins are game units

An operator may supply virtual coins for play-for-fun selections and offer optional purchases of more coins. A large coin total is not automatically a money balance. Read what that specific unit can and cannot do.

Promotional entries have their own rules

Some social sports platforms run a separate sweepstakes promotion. Its entry balance can have a different name, eligibility, entry route, and expiry policy. Read the official promotion rules, including no-purchase entry methods, instead of assuming the coin-shop screen tells the whole story.

A third balance can change the journey

Some products distinguish an entry balance from the prize units awarded after a winning selection. That creates another step to understand. Never assume a prize ticket can be used as a new entry, or that balances can be converted freely between modes.

Use a three-column note

For every balance, record its name, how it is obtained, and what the rules allow you to do with it. Keep these notes beside the promotion you are comparing. If a field is unclear, ask official support before making an optional purchase.
